Free University of Berlin The Free University of Berlin (FU Berlin) currently has 35,500 students enrolled in more than 100 courses, with approximately 3,800 graduating every year. The FU Berlin is one of Germany's largest and most productive universities. It receives approx. 55 million euros of private funding every year, a substantial contribution to its budget. Munich International Trade Fairs The Munich Trade Fairs International Group (MMI) is one of the world`s leading organizers of trade fairs. It organises some 40 trade fairs for capital goods, consumer goods and new technologies. More than 30,000 exhibitors from over 100 countries and more than two million visitors from some 180 countries participate in fairs and exhibitions in Munich each year. MMI also organizes trade fairs in Asia, the Middle East and South America. |

PINK PINK is a consortium of companies and universities from Berlin-Brandenburg which is funded with means from the "Innovative regionale Wachstumskerne" support programme of Germany's Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). This research project, which brings together companies and institutions from the Berlin-Brandenburg region, runs from November 2004 until October 2007, building on the progress made in the first phase of the growth nucleus between October 2001 and December 2003. |
